USD Head Start is seeking a Nutrition Aide for the Head Start classroom in Beresford. This position is a part-time position. The position works from Mid-August until End of May annually.
Responsibilities include serving breakfast and/or lunch and preparing and serving snack for children ages 3-5 attending a Head Start classroom.
Prefer applicant that has experience with food service and with children ages 3-5. Must pass fingerprint background check.

Position will crouch/squat or kneel to interact with small children. Position will lift food service containers up to counter height to serve. Position may bend to set/clean tables that are at child height, or assist with cleaning. Position will push food cart back to school kitchen. Position will stand for meal prep, cleaning and during some interactions with children.

Position may use microwave and small appliances. Position will interact with children indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to children's body/body fluids and possible illness. Position will use a bleach mixture to sanitize classroom spaces.
