Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Double Blacks & IRD

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of 1,350 rooms, 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest ski beaches in the world.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Double Blacks & IRD will assist in overseeing daily operations and service excellence within our Double Blacks, our elevated coffee shop experience, and the In-Room Dining outlet. This role ensures seamless guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team development across both outlets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. the Assistant Manager may also support other Food and Beverage venues as needed, based on business levels and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities\:

Lead and supervise the Double Blacks, IRD and Food and Beverage teams.

Support food and beverage initiatives

Collaborate with culinary and events teams to coordinate special activations and seasonal offerings

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and performance development of F&B colleagues

• Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
• Must have current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency. Food service and/or other certification as required
