Dietary Aide Mon - Thurs 7am - 3pm and every other weekend 4pm-7pm

The Dietary Aide at Senescent Healthcare is responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This role supports the nutritional needs of residents in our assisted living and retirement community.

• Assist in setting tables, serving meals, and clearing dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for kitchen and dining spaces.
• Handle inventory, stock rotation, and proper food storage.
• Assist with special event meal preparations and extra duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure smooth meal service and resident satisfaction.

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and every other weekend from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements:

• Less than high school education or equivalent experience; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 3 PM and every other weekend afternoon shift from 4 PM to 7 PM.
• Prior experience in food service or healthcare preferred but not mandatory.
