Regents Point, a premier 5-star HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in Irvine, CA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team as a full-time Nutrition Services Manager .
Schedule: MondayFriday (typical start time between 8:309:00 AM; flexibility required based on operational needs, including occasional weekends)
Salary Range: $90,000$110,000 annually (depending on experience)
About the Role
The Nutrition Services Manager plays a vital role in promoting resident health and wellness through high-quality, compassionate nutrition care. This position collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive personalized, effective dietary support that enhances their well-being, independence, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a core member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting residents health, independence, and quality of life
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with the Executive Chef and nursing staff
- Act as the primary expert on all nutrition-related matters, prioritizing residents preferences, needs, and dignity
- Provide medical nutrition therapy, including assessments, care planning, diet modifications, and education for residents and families
- Identify and manage residents at nutritional risk, including oversight of IDDSI standards and tube feeding programs
- Complete MDS Section K and ensure accurate, timely documentation in PCC
- Lead and contribute to QAPI initiatives by tracking, trending, and reporting outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Dining, Culinary, Speech Therapy (SLP), Nursing, and Activities teams to deliver resident-centered care
- Oversee diet changes, tray card updates, menu distribution, food safety practices, supplements, emergency supplies, and HACCP documentation
- Conduct audits to maintain survey readiness and uphold quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required
- State licensure as applicable required
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a senior living or similar healthcare setting
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
