- Design personalized medical nutrition therapies that directly improve patient recovery outcomes and long-term health.
- Evaluate patient nutritional status to implement life-sustaining interventions, including specialized diet therapies and counseling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians and therapists—to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient wellness.
- Monitor and adjust nutritional regimens in real-time to ensure maximum treatment tolerance and clinical effectiveness.
- Champion nutritional excellence by resolving complex care challenges and ensuring the highest standards of dietary compliance and safety.
/ Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Educator specializing in Diabetes Management preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
