Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing specialized nutrition services to clients. Working closely with clients, you will assess their dietary needs and create personalized meal plans to help them achieve their health goals. You will also educate clients on proper nutrition and provide support and guidance throughout their journey towards a healthier lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's dietary needs and develop personalized meal plans - Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans - Educate clients on the importance of proper nutrition and how it relates to overall health - Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients in achieving their health goals - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients - Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of nutrition - Maintain accurate records of client information and progress Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution - Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Nutritionist (RDN) - Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical or community nutrition settings preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals - Strong understanding of nutritional principles and ability to apply them in practice - Proficient in creating meal plans based on individual needs, preferences, and restrictions - Knowledge of relevant software programs for tracking client progress (e.g. MyFitnessPal) - Fluency in Malayalam preferred for working with Malayalee clients This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC.
