Review pient medical charts for pertinent informion reled to pient nutritional stus and lifestyle.
Record screening da, nutrition assessments and plans.
Review diet orders and upde food preferences and supplements in computerized programs.
Communice with dietitian regarding diet instructions.
Evalue accuracy of tray assembly and nourishment planning procedures.
Review menus and makes adjustments as necessary.
Communice with all members of the Nutritional Care Team, orally or via e-mail, regarding all informion relive to pient care and meal service.

This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
One year probionary period may be required.
This position has mandory seasonal influenza vaccinion requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinions unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documention of exemption must be provided upon hire).
This position may require the incumbent to work on any day or shift, including PMs, nights, weekends, holidays, basis, necessary to meet mission requirements.
This position has been designed Mission Essential. In the event of severe weher conditions or other such emergency type situions, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain work as scheduled to support mission operions.
This position has specific initial background investigion and periodic re-verificion requirements since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age on a recurring basis.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Experience which includes obtaining nutritional screenings for pients with a wide range of medical conditions; applying facility -specific nutrition risk criteria, including calculing Body Mass Index (BMI) and Usual Body Weight (UBW); and monitoring Pient Tray Service (PTS) to ensure each pient's meal tray complies with prescribed diet requirements This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Educion: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, with major study or least 24 semester hours in subjects directly reled to the position such as Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health Nutrition. (Note: You must tach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combinion of Educion and Experience: A combinion of educion and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is least 100%.
