The Dietitian plans modified diets as requested by the attending physician/licensed practitioner, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in nutritional studies and certification as a Dietary Manager preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in nutritional field.
Experience : Requires a minimum of three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutr itional assessment and planning preferred.
Licensure: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and state certification required .
