QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must complete 16 hours of instruction in Safety, Customer Service, and Sanitation by the end of the first calendar year of employment. (TASN Level I Certification).
• Must be able to read, write and understand verbal instruction in English and perform math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare high quality food.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to operate large, small kitchen equipment and kitchen tools
• Ability to work with other personnel and follow instructions of supervisors.
• Competent in operating a computerized cash register

Work Schedule: 182 days per the district calendar
