What You’ll Do in This Role:
Are you passionate about bringing joy to others and making a real impact on someone's day? As a Dietary Aide handling the pots and pans at our senior living community, you’ll do just that! The Pots and Pans position keeps the kitchen running smoothly by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment to meet sanitation standards. Primary Responsibilities:
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils and cooking equipment.
- Responsible for set up, cleaning and break down of the dish machine, pot & pans area, washing of dishes, glasses and small wares.
- Create an enjoyable dining experience, serving residents and their guests
- Take orders in restaurant service style setting
- Maintain a clean and organized dining and service area
What You’ll Need:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
