Establishes requirements for proper receipt, storage and timely usage of food stuffs. Regularly inspects cooking, food preparation and service procedures. - Recommends and directs the food service program including transport to floor kitchens and provision of nourishment. Provides departmental leadership that fosters an atmosphere that allows the Hospital to fulfill its mission and meet or exceed its goals. Qualifications: - It is critical the right leader of this function places a strong emphasis on a “customer service” approach to food services. Any formal training or extensive experience leading teams in this type of setting is highly desirable. - Previous experience leading food services programs in the hospitality and hotel industry is desirable.
