Develops and produces nutrition educational materials and brochures for program use. 4. Plans for, purchases, tracks expenditures and inventory, and manages the overall development, procurement and distribution of educational materials and supplies for the grant-funded nutrition education programs. 5. Maintains and monitors program expenditures, prepares invoices, and necessary reports. 6. Conducts pre-certification and scheduled nutrition monitoring inspections of congregate/adult day care meal service and food preparation sites for compliance with food quality, sanitation, and safety standards. 7. Provides technical assistance involving congregate/adult day care meal service and food preparation site compliance and performance issues. Communicates problems and areas for improvement to appropriate PCA staff. Produces written reports documenting inspections performed, and recommends improvements. 8. Assists PCA Nutrition Manager with evaluation of congregate/adult day care menus for compliance with PDA specifications. Communicates with appropriate staff at meal sites regarding necessary corrections to menus and secures appropriate corrections. 9. In coordination with the Nutrition Manager, plans for, manages and coordinates all aspects of the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program produce voucher program and distribution, internally and with distribution sites, including: coordinating, distributing, and tracking all materials needed for community distribution sites; coordinating staffing schedules for produce distribution; assisting with publicity; tracking expenditures; communicating with all appropriate parties; reconciling all documentation; problem-solving distribution issues; overseeing database information, and producing reports as needed. 10. As part of a team, collaborates with Nutrition Manager and the Long Term Care staff in the development of an evaluation and monitoring process for the home-delivered meal service, which includes program eligibility and appropriateness of services. 11.
