Job Title: Diet Aide for Skilled Nursing Facility Company: Location: Ann Arbor, MI Description: The Dining Services Team at Glacier Hills provides 700-900 meals daily to the residents of The Care and Rehabilitation Center and The Manor at Glacier Hills. It is our goal to serve fresh, appealing and nutritious meals that will enhance the dining experience. Food services include meals in the skilled nursing facility, independent and assisted living as well as in-house events. We are seeking a Full-time DIET AIDE who will transport and serve meals to our older adult residents in The Care and Rehabilitation Center, our skilled nursing facility. DIET AIDES may also work serving meals to the residents of Assisted Living in The Manor at Glacier Hills. We have DIET AIDE position available and are looking for a friendly, caring people to join our dining services team. The work hours for this position is: POSITION #1 Work Hours are: Weekdays and Weekends 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm (varies) and every other weekend. Will work approximately 6-7 days every two weeks. Total hours for a two week period will be approximately 24-30. Working weekends and holidays is required. DUTIES Working alone and as part of a team, transport all food, plates, glassware, utensils, etc. from the Main Kitchen to the Care and Rehabilitation Center units to provide and serve meals to residents in a hospital type setting. May provide meal service to residents in the Assisted Living apartments of The Manor at Glacier Hills. Deliver extra items requested by residents as needed. Transport unused food back to main kitchen. Bus dining room table(s) and return all items, including dirty dishes/utensils/glassware, etc. to main kitchen. Working as a team, clean all dishes and reset area for next meal.
