Under the direction of the Manager, the Technical Support Nutritionist is responsible for responding to technical inquiries and providing product and nutrition research information.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nutrition information for use in developing product labels, diets, pamphlets, advertising materials, etc.
- Respond to internal and external product information inquiries
- Assist Medical Information Analyst with follow-up calls to customers
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A strong background in nutrition and technical writing
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Nutrition or other related science field
- Must have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible and organized to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
- Excellent problem solving, judgment and decision making skills
